5 Ways To Take Your Measurements Accurately

1.) Take your measurements in the right place each and every time for consistency.


2.) Women should take their waist measurement at the smallest point of their waist and men should take their measurement right around the belly button. This may help with accuracy as women tend to have different fat patterns than men.


3.) Always take your measurements first thing in the morning after using the restroom. This helps ensure you are not getting incorrect measurements due to water weight or bloating.


4.) Always take your measurements atleast 48 hours after exercise to ensure you don’t have a “pump”. Again, this will ensure you are not getting incorrect measurements due to water weight and inflammation.


5.) Track your measurements no sooner than every month to ensure you have given your body enough time to have made significant changes. Just like with daily weighing; if you don’t see a downward trend this can be incredibly demotivating. Instead, track once a month to stay on track!
